Greater Zion Visitors Center

Greater Zion Visitors Center

Located in the Washington County Office Building

111 E Tabernacle St

This was such a fun morning activity for us! And bonus: it’s indoors!

The Greater Zion Visitors Center is located right as you walk into the new Washington County Office Building on Tabernacle. It’s FREE to enter, and there is so much to see in such a small space.

There’s an interactive map that explains all the different areas in the Greater Zion, what there is to do in each, and the different communities inside as well.

There are small reptile exhibits, we had the most fun with that.

You can see two different kinds of snakes, salamanders, 3 kinds of desert tortoises, a tarantula and scorpions. It was really cool to see what all lives around us in one place.

The Red Cliffs Reserve does the occasional story time there. Be sure to follow them to stay updated on when they are.

It was short and sweet, but we had a lot of fun when we went!

Have you been yet? Are you planning to go soon? Let me know what you think if you go!
